2021 Race Season

Hello Racers, Fans and Volunteers!

Thank you all for an awesome season of Mud Drag Races ! You put on a great show and our crowds reflected that with their attendance. There were a lot of races that needed the finish line lights to call as the level of competitors has gotten so close in the classes! Our youth ATV showed that we have some great potential in our kids and hopefully they will transition to a truck someday! Our adult ATV and Street Rod classes were up and down in entries and the SDMRI board will discuss a few incentive ideas to help increase those numbers throughout the year so watch for future posts on Facebook and on this site for those announcements!

A big thank you to the Volunteers of the many towns we raced at this year for your support in our sport...your efforts were reflected in the crowd counts at each race.

Another big thank you to Mr. E, Mr. EE, Dude, Catdog, Sweet E and Mow Jangles for your voices, knowledge and commentary which kept the crowd entertained throughout our events! We look forward to 2022 to see what you'll say next!

Thank you to all the volunteers at the races and behind the scenes...it takes a lot to put on these events and every bit of extra help was very much appreciated! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
