Final
What a end to our 20th anniversary season! We would like to congratulate all of our points champions and all the winners from our 2019 seasons. We would also like to thank all the fans, the sponsors, the volunteers, and the drivers for making this a great season. We wouldn’t have this great show without them. A big thanks to the announcing team also for providing the entertainment during the races.
We had a lot of fun in Canistota, thanks to the Marquardt’s and the ASSi-9 group for bringing us back. We would also like to thank our friends from Wyoming and from Nebraska for coming over and playing in the mud.
It’s been a fun 20 years of throwing mud. We have had our ups and downs, highs and lows but it has been fun. We’ve seen other clubs around us come and go but we still are running strong. We get to see a wide variety of new and old trucks. Our friends from other states and clubs come and race with us providing constant entertainment and competition. We have grown a lot as a club from the first race in Woonsocket in 1999 till our season finale in Canistota. Our rules have evolved, our trucks have gotten faster, we added a class, and we brought in the four wheelers. We have traveled all over the south east corner of the state, and some memorable trips west to Sturgis. With a bright future ahead I can’t wait to see what and where the next 20 years will bring us. The important thing is that we keep going forward working together to make this the greatest show in mud.
The 2020 season is only 9 months away so get your parts ordered, grab your wrenches, and get to work. Next summer we are celebrating our 21st birthday so let’s make it our fastest season to date. We’re all looking forward to another great season so don’t forget to get as many ads sold as you can, and be ready for some high horse power mud flying action.
Sincerely yours, The SDMRI board.
