Superstock
TIRES
- 37" maximum DOT tires marked on tires.
- No cutting or grooving. - No paddling tires
ENGINE
- Gasoline only, NO nitrous, alcohol or forced induction.
- Roller rockers and roller cams allowed. - No after markey fuel injection. - Big blocks allowed, must be in stock location. - 468 cubic inches allowed - Carb swaps allowed. - No trans brakes - No aluminum heads. Open headers allowed if exiting up or down, not out sides. - Must run a steady 15 inches of engine manifold vacuum (minimum) at 800 RPM's for 30 seconds. No vacuum pumps or equipment that will produce vacuum. - Front and rear mount radiators allowed but must have shielding to protect the driver in the event of a leak. - Approved transmission blanket or shield required on all auto transmissions. Scatter shield required on bell housings of manual transmission equipped trucks.
BODY
- Complete body required, corp. matching, make and model.
- Rear seat and tailgate may be removed. - Must have 2 working doors unless open bodied. - Body must be completely intact. - Minimal fender well trimming to accommodate larger tires. - Dash components may be removed (components only). - OEM Bench seats allowed/racing seat strongly recommended. - No fuel tanks inside driver's compartment.
FRAME & SUSPENSION
- Total body & suspension lift not to exceed six (6) inches.
- Must be factory suspension - Axle swaps allowed. Must have factory OEM unmodified frame. - Must have corporate transfer case. - Driver must sit in stock location. - Engine, tranny and chassis must be corporate matching. - Tow hook required, front and rear. - Two point traction bar allowed. Must hook to the top center of the rear end and not to proceed past the front two spring hanger bolts on the rear springs. - Factory OEM suspension three full lenth leaf springs minimum allowed. - Trucks must have drive shaft loops front and rear.
SAFETY
- 4 point harness - 4 point roll cage - fire extinguisher.
- Brake locks recommended on manual transmission equipped trucks. - Must have fire suit, pants and shirt required. - Window net on driver side or wrist restraint is highly recommended. |
